Kellie martin is an American TV, film and stage actress. Her most notable roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other notable roles include the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting journey began at age seven, when an aunt the former nanny who took care for the children of Michael Landon, helped secure an appearance as a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' When she graduated from Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. Martin as well as being an excellent actress and dancer, is also a skilled ballet photographer. Her sister who passed away due to Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus National spokesperson.
