Brandi passante became an overnight sensation after her role in A&E's reality series 'StorageWars. Also, it featured Jarrod Schulz who was her boyfriend for many years, and later husband. The show's theme is storage lockers that have not had their rent paid over the last 3 months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California took part in the show in hopes of acquiring the cheapest storage units. The couple had no idea the show was about to transform them into reality TV superstars. During the series, the couple proved themselves to be competent and efficient bidders. They became the stars. Their success on the reality show led them to grow their company. They opened another shop in addition to the one they previously owned. After their appearance on 'Storage wars', the spin-off show "Brandi and Jarrod: Married to the Job" was made just for the couple.
